You will be responsible for the correct billing of fees and prompt collection of cash within the Sales Ledger Team.

Your responsibilities will include: Updating and maintaining the billing system in relation to admissions, discharges, and financial information Collecting income for care fees through the raising of invoices and managing the recovery of debts Ensuring payments from providers are made within the HC-One timeframes Maintaining the posting and allocation of cash received Addressing queries from residents, care homes, and relatives efficiently, diarising all communications On a monthly basis, reconciling the income and cash within the required timeframe Closing Date: 24th January 2025

You will have excellent communication and listening skills, as the role will involve dealing with a variety of enquiries by telephone and email, some of which may be of a sensitive nature. Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a sales ledger/credit control environment, have some knowledge of the care industry, and worked as part of a team in a previous role. You will be Excel and Word literate, have good analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail, and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm, or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
