ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit an Engineering Sales Manager for our client who leads their market in the industry.
Sales Engineering Manager
Our client is looking for a Sales Engineering Manager with an engineering background, understanding of how equipment works, and who can put together turnkey proposals for their customers in the food processing industry.
Duties: To promote and sell a specialised range of food processing equipment from their own range and their partner's ranges, from single machines to full turn-key processing lines. Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic. Ability to generate and manage sales enquiries and to deliver practicable and cost-effective turn-key solutions to their customers. To seek out new business from a vast range of opportunities within a highly competitive market. Ability to work as an individual, but also as part of an existing team of experienced sales professionals, sales design team, and our associated partners. Willingness to travel extensively within the target area, and from time to time overseas, as required. Full product training given.
Qualifications: Experience in an engineering environment would be an advantage and a basic understanding of AutoCAD/SolidWorks design software. Ideally qualified to B-Tech Mechanical Engineering with good grades in English and Maths to GCSE and/or A-Level. Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum. Understanding and prior use of customer databases and reporting procedures is an advantage, but not essential.
