This is a hunter sales role with a focus on new logos and building accounts from scratch, as well as developing existing ones. The team is split between the UK and Switzerland, and operates across Europe. They've been highly successful, but there is huge opportunity for further growth in this region, and we’re looking for someone excited to develop this further. Actively participate in product development roadmap with Commodity and Product Owners to help build and maximise the value proposition and customer experience. About you: Proven experience in a B2B sales environment in a hunter sales role, ideally in a commodities or financial data-focused business, but with a strong grounding in SaaS sales methodology and structure. Ability to deliver thorough sales process/ methodology - from pipeline generation, lead capture/ nurture to effective qualification and management of sales opportunities through to close. Track record of success selling across Europe, demonstrating understanding of cultural nuance. If you can speak multiple languages that will be a distinct advantage. Conversant in MEDDPICC and value framework to qualify and progress opportunities. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals. Experience identifying leads, building relationships, and closing deals up to C-suite. Excited to grow and develop a region for a scaling business. Thrives in ambiguity. Proactive, with a proven ability to work with a high level of independence and urgency. High level of integrity, ethical standards, and alignment with Sparta’s values. Capable of collaborating effectively with prospects and internal stakeholders. Proven ability to understand customer workflows and the decision-making process. Excellent negotiation & presentation skills. General knowledge of the energy markets, with an understanding of back/middle/front office operations, is advantageous. Built for traders by traders, our technology pulls together real time market data and adds insight and advanced analysis to enable traders to make better decisions, faster and with conviction. You'll collaborate with like-minded individuals who are passionate about our mission and deeply committed to crafting outstanding products and achieving success for our customers. We operate flexibly, understanding that a thriving, profitable company isn't just about being in the same location all the time. We build our relationships through effective remote work methods and carefully planned in-person meet-ups. What we offer: Flexible working, with travel to a central hub for collaborative meetings and team gatherings. Attractive company stock option plan. Yearly companywide meet-ups in sunny locations. Training and education budget. Private Medical Insurance. Access to the optimal gear suited for your position.
