We are recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a 4-star country house hotel featuring 50 rooms, conference facilities for up to 300 attendees, 6 event spaces, and an 18-hole golf course.
The Role: This position will primarily focus on driving sales in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be tasked with developing and executing a strong sales strategy aimed at maximising new business opportunities across various market segments.
The Candidate: The ideal candidate will be highly ambitious, determined, and have prior experience working in a smaller hotel setting. Familiarity with the local market is preferred, and this role offers the chance to take the next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and actively manage existing and prospective accounts within the region, striving for overall account growth and achieving new business sales targets.
- Plan and execute campaigns to generate new business prospects in the region.
- Stay informed about market trends in both our clients portfolio and regional competitor hotels to identify advantages and secure market share.
- Identify, plan, and proactively represent our client at industry-specific events and regional networking opportunities.
- Consistently exceeding client expectations through delivery of a high-quality sales service.
- Achieve all agreed-upon targets and KPIs.
