Sales Manager

who will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's service sales strategy and driving our team towards success. Applicants will ideally be based in the north of England or in the Midlands. In this role, you will be a key player in delivering exceptional customer service while creating a positive and productive team culture. Partnering closely with the UK Head of Service, you will be responsible for guiding and developing our external service sales team, ensuring they achieve and surpass annual revenue and profit targets. If you are motivated by setting clear objectives, mentoring a team, and collaborating to drive results, this opportunity is ideal for you. Key Responsibilities Drive Sales Success : Collaborate with the leadership team to set and achieve revenue and gross margin targets, guiding the external team to consistently meet or exceed annual objectives. Set Clear Expectations : Define and implement Key Performance Indicators for the team, regularly monitoring and evaluating their performance to ensure goals are met. Lead & Develop the Team : Provide leadership to the external service sales team, motivating them to achieve their highest potential. You'll conduct regular performance reviews, offer guidance, and tailor training programs to support individual and team growth. Training & Development : Deliver targeted training and development initiatives that will enhance the skills and expertise of your team, enabling them to excel in their roles. Full Line Management : Take on full line management responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management, and development of your team. You will also work closely with HR when needed to ensure the team operates efficiently and in line with company policies. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. About You We are looking for a proactive leader who can balance a customer-focused approach with effective team management. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Customer-Centric Mindset : A track record of building and nurturing successful relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction. Service Background : We are seeking an individual ideally with a background in industrial doors or a related industry such as HVAC, passenger lifts, forklifts etc. Excellent Communication Skills : Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback to both the team and customers. Team Player : A collaborative attitude, understanding the importance of meeting deadlines and thriving in a busy, dynamic environment. Leadership & Management : Proven experience in managing a team, setting clear goals, and providing support and guidance to achieve them. A strong focus on people development, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
