The role of the Sales Manager is to lead and manage the sales team on a day-to-day basis and drive growth and development of new and existing business.Reporting into the UK Sales Director, the Sales Manager is also responsible for working closely with the Internal Sales and Technical teams.

The Sales Manager role will have approximately 10 account managers and directors reporting into them. Key Responsibilities - Growth Assist in the development of sales strategy and annual sales plan in line with annual budget and forecast expectations Manage business plans with each sales team member for mid enterprise accounts and new logo acquisition Management and successful execution of the sales strategy Produce accurate forecasting whilst building a pipeline of business to achieve target with the sales team Support each sales team member in working closely with customers and prospects to understand their business needs around Managed Security Services (MSS), Technology related sales and Professional Services for both new business and renewals. Working closely with the Presales and Service-related functions of the business to monitor, manage and drive the services pipeline and understand technical resource availability Support the Managing Director and Sales Director in developing new and existing key stakeholder relationships within technology vendors and distribution partners Key Responsibilities – People Management Identify training and development requirements for team members Strong coaching skills required – some (approx. 50%) of the team are relatively new account managers and will require a high level of support. Hold monthly performance management reviews with the Sales Director Mentor and support Business Development/Internal Sales team members and identify individuals to fast track to external sales roles Attract, recruit, develop, engage, motivate and retain high performing individuals who contribute to the success of the business What we expect of you

A demonstrable track record of sales team target achievement Commercial knowledge and business acumen including financial management Experience of a leading a team of external sales people Ability to maintain reputation for sales excellence and innovation. A natural team player, able to communicate and work effectively with all stakeholders at Orange Cyberdefense UK and its vendors, customers and other partners. Business focused and able to balance the goals of Orange Cyberdefense UK with those of our customers. Experience in deploying and executing against MEDDICC framework would be advantageous. Experience and understanding of sales and client engagement through the full client lifecycle Product portfolio development and management experience Marketing and new business development experience An strong IT Security background ideally with an understanding of the technologies and vendors within our portfolio Inspiring leader and excellent team player
