2+ years of experience in a leadership role . You will be a hands-on player-manager, leading by example while driving the performance of the team. finance, banking, or insurance sectors . Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed targets. Act as a player-manager, actively participating in sales activities while overseeing team performance. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes to drive business growth. Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and mentorship to team members. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Ensure sales team compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Key Requirements: Demonstrated success as a Sales Manager, with a strong track record of overseeing and guiding Business Development Managers to achieve outstanding results. At least 2 consecutive years of stable employment within the same company and industry. Strong background in the professional services industry, specifically in finance, banking, or insurance. Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and lead a successful sales team. A player-manager approach with a hands-on approach to driving sales initiatives - candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets while successfully managing and leading a sales team to achieve collective success. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What We Offer: Competitive salary and bonus structure. Car Allowance £4,000 per annum. Commission Scheme. Annual Performance Bonus up to £1,200. Annual salary reviews (around July). 33 days holiday, increasing to 34 days after 2 years service, 35 days after 3 years service, 36 days after 4 years service + 1 special day.
