An opportunity to join a leading solar energy distributor who are looking to expand operations within the UK.
The role:
This position will oversee sales operations in the Manchester region and will further contribute to driving sales growth through building and developing relationships with key customers.
The Sales Manager is a crucial role within the organisation and will be responsible for implementing the sales strategy, ensuring that this is aligned with wider business objectives.
Further responsibilities will include:
- Expanding the current customer base by identifying new business opportunities.
- Mapping areas for market growth through monitoring competitor activities and market trends.
- Providing regular sales forecasts to the senior leadership team, through maintaining and accurate sales pipeline.
- Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams as required (eg – Marketing, Product Development) to ensure that wider strategies are aligned.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- At least 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the solar/renewable energy sector.
- A track record of successful sales.
- The ability to build and develop customer relationships, partnered with evidence of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or another related discipline.
