Brief Description of Role: Manage and develop the teams to ensure our client has the most competitive, efficient supplier base and prices accordingly to gain new or secure existing business. Ensure system developments are on track to automate processes. Always ensure company values are in place across both teams.

Key Activities & Responsibilities: Health and Safety: Responsible for one's own, co-worker's and stakeholder's health and safety. Team(s) Management: Lead Pricing team and help develop their knowledge & understanding regarding pricing and routing both deep & short sea. Work with Procurement with the aim of negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best pricing model. Monitor and track market trends and availability to pay the best price for services without impacting service levels. Work with Procurement to identify and research potential new suppliers, services and routes. Liaise with internal department heads to ensure suggested suppliers, services and routes are fit for purpose. Inbox / Spot Quotes Management: Manage the Sales inbox ensuring we are on top of the high demand of spot requests. Hit our internal KPIs and check that all sales quotes go out at the highest quality possible. Check for best routing/Pricing on each quote. Every sales quote must be checked by the Internal Sales Manager and approved before being sent to a customer. Tender Management: Own the tender management process to ensure deadlines are met and workload is delegated accordingly within the S&P team. Organize and lead all related meetings, oversee the documentation of any feedback for better market understanding, and proactively negotiate with suppliers to gain competitive advantage. Inside Sales Manager must have good Excel skills to create/complete Calculation & Bid sheets for tender submission. Process Automation: Review all internal processes with the department and work closely with IT to ensure we have the most efficient & automated processes established to ensure effective, streamlined output assisting the business.
