An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to join the team within freezing and chilling equipment manufacturer Starfrost. Key Responsibilities
Contribute to development and implementation of sales strategy. Generate potential sales leads to meet UK sales targets. Develop & maintain customer relationships with existing and potential customers. Liaise with technical team on project development. Prepare sales quotation documentation/proposals in line with standard procedures. People & Processes
Prepare sales estimates and quotations in accordance with standard commercial terms and internal procedures. Obtain HoS approval for any deviations from standard operating procedures. Contribute to internal business development forecasts. Deliver handover documentation in timely manner appropriate to Contracts department. Provide support to other departments or group companies as required. Awareness of impact of H&S regulation and legislative compliance on market. Customer
Build and maintain high level customer relationships. Generate & manage enquiries and prospect lists. Sell value proposition for company products and services. Maintain positive image of company brand. Develop region & sector knowledge – market awareness/suppliers/competitors. Technology
Identify new product/systems or improvement opportunities. Develop cost and marketing strategies for consideration by the Managing Director. Keep up to date with product and relevant technical innovation. Finance
Develop & implement sales strategy for each territory with HoS. Meet agreed targets, budgets & margins. Timely tender submission in line with customer requirements. Ensure competitive rates from supplier quotations for components. Lead commercial negotiation & secure orders to meet sales and margin targets. Manage UK sales forecasts by area and product stream. Candidate Qualifications/Experience
You will possess a self-motivated, flexible approach and the ability to work and contribute effectively as part of a team. Experience in B2B sales – Minimum of 2-3 years (similar industry experience desirable, but not essential). Long-Term relationship builder. Independent/pro-active sales approach. Ability to target customers’ needs and sell value proposition. Willingness to learn/absorb information. Ability to think outside-the-box and creative solutions. Good understanding of MS products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc). Ability to manage several ongoing sales projects, at different stages of fruition. Able to work a mixture of office based (Lowestoft) / remote working & travelling to site (UK/Ireland). Company Benefits
