Are you an experienced sales leader seeking a senior-level opportunity where you can drive growth and strategically influence customer acquisition in a competitive market?

My client, a leading UK-based fibre optic internet service provider, is looking for a Sales Manager to join their sales team and help achieve ambitious expansion goals across Leeds and surrounding regions.

In this role you will oversee and lead high-level sales efforts in acquiring new business (B2B) customers for a cutting-edge full fibre broadband network. You will utilize your advanced communication and persuasion skills to engage with key prospects, negotiate deals, and help shape the future growth strategy of the business. This role requires an expert understanding of sales strategy, customer needs, and relationship management, with a strong focus on driving performance and building long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Manage Field Sales Operations: Oversee direct sales activities in designated areas, ensuring consistent achievement of ambitious customer acquisition targets. Strategic Customer Engagement: Develop and implement targeted strategies to engage prospective residential customers, effectively demonstrating the benefits of high-speed fibre broadband and converting leads into long-term subscribers. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty. Sales Leadership: Mentor and support junior sales team members, sharing best practices and ensuring the team remains motivated and aligned with the company's sales objectives. Market Insight and Strategy: Continuously assess market trends, customer demands, and competitor activity to ensure the company remains competitive in its offerings and messaging. Reporting and Forecasting: Regularly report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market intelligence to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.

What You'll Need: Proven experience in sales, with a track record of success in the telecom or broadband sector, preferably in a senior or leadership position. Expertise in high-level negotiations, relationship building, and sales strategy. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels. Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team while ensuring individual and collective sales targets are met. A results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving long-term growth and success in a competitive market.
