This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in media or B2B sales leadership. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving team performance and business growth. The role offers a varied work environment, combining office-based responsibilities, field support, and flexibility for home working. Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager: Coach and support the sales team to develop their expertise across various sectors. Motivate and inspire the team to achieve targets and personal development goals. Manage key accounts by showcasing expert product knowledge and exceptional sales skills. Lead daily team meetings and conduct monthly one-to-one performance reviews. Plan and forecast financial performance, identifying and addressing revenue gaps. Stay informed about market trends, competitor strategies, and product developments. Foster a positive team environment that attracts and retains high-performing sales professionals. Skills and Experience Required for the Sales Manager Role: Strong verbal communication and clear, concise writing skills. Proven sales coaching and leadership abilities. Analytical and numerate with proficiency in computer systems. Experience in sales leadership, customer focus, and strategic planning. Success in field sales and telesales roles. Budget management experience is desirable. Evidence of professional development and leadership training. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
