The Candidate You are a proven sales professional with a background in the engineering or manufacturing sectors. Experience in working with OEMs is essential, while mechanical engineering experience is preferred. You are: Strategic and Analytical : Capable of identifying market gaps, interpreting data, and formulating actionable sales strategies. Dynamic and Motivational : A natural leader who can inspire, manage, and develop a small team while driving individual and collective success. Hands-On and Proactive : Comfortable engaging directly with customers, managing key accounts, and overseeing tender processes. Experienced and Knowledgeable : Familiar with selling to OEMs, and ideally, with additional insight into commissioning, maintenance, or spare parts supply. Results-Driven : Focused on achieving targets and contributing to the company’s growth ambitions in both UK and international markets. The Role This is a senior, hands-on position that offers the ideal platform for a talented sales professional to step into a managerial role or for an experienced leader to join a business with true autonomy. As

Sales Manager , you’ll oversee a small, motivated sales team, while also remaining closely involved with strategic and operational sales activities. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing data-driven, strategic sales plans to identify new market opportunities and expand into untapped sectors. Managing existing customer relationships, tendering processes, and business development initiatives. Leading and inspiring your team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance. Overseeing the supply of products to OEMs and exploring additional opportunities in commissioning, maintenance, and spare parts supply. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll enjoy significant autonomy to implement your ideas and streamline processes without red tape. This role provides a rare combination of strategic leadership and hands-on selling, making it an exceptional opportunity for ambitious professionals.

The Rewards

Salary : Up to £70,000 per annum. Car Allowance : £7,200 annually. Bonuses : Performance-related bonuses. Benefits : Comprehensive health plan and private pension scheme.
