Sales Projects Manager
Contract: Permanent
Location: Flexible hybrid working style with three days in the London office
The role
The Sales Projects Manager will oversee and lead strategic retail projects from inception to completion. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and a proven ability to manage complex projects effectively while driving continuous improvement.

Project Planning and Execution
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Manage the Retail Roadmap and Critical Path to ensure stores are not overloaded at any given time.
Lead project kick-off meetings to establish objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Cross-functional Team Coordination
Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and support for retail projects.
Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders to review progress, identify risks, and resolve issues.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between all team members and stakeholders.
Budget and Resource Management
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within approved costs.
Allocate resources effectively to achieve project goals.
Track and report on project expenses and financial performance.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement 'best practices' in project management.
Develop and maintain project management documentation, tools, and templates.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Risk Management
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and present risk assessments and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
Track project performance against KPIs and provide regular updates to senior management.
Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for executive leadership.
Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
Address stakeholder concerns and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
Training and Development
Mentor and train team members on project management methodologies and 'best practices'.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the project team.
The successful candidate
Proven experience in project management, preferably within a retail or sales environment
Strong skills in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Experience with risk management, resource allocation, and performance tracking
Ability to implement process improvements and manage multiple projects simultaneously
