Sales Representative

to join their team. With over 20 years of trading, the company is a trusted name in maritime safety for both leisure and commercial markets, offering premium marine safety products, ropes, and fenders. About the Company

Our client is a UK distributor of high-quality marine safety products, with longstanding partnerships spanning over 40 years with leading rope manufacturers and over 30 years with fender specialists. The company prides itself on building strong relationships, maintaining customer loyalty, and ensuring excellent stock availability across its product range. Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through in-person visits, calls, and emails. Present and promote products to meet customer needs and close sales. Attend trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations to represent the company professionally. Negotiate pricing, delivery, and other terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Monitor stock levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth order fulfilment. Provide accurate quotations, sales documentation, and market feedback to inform future strategies. Resolve customer complaints by identifying solutions and implementing them effectively. Stay informed about product developments, market trends, and competitor activities. About You:

Knowledge of the Marine Industry/Boating/Yachting. You are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work on your own initiative. You enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and identifying customer needs. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
