Salesforce Architect Duration: 6 months (View to extend) Location: Onsite - London Key Responsibilities: Provide guidance to vendors on Salesforce module implementation, ensuring correct configuration and development to avoid complex maintenance challenges during the BAU phase. Define technical requirements for APIs, including naming conventions, input parameters, payloads, response formats, and error codes, ensuring meaningful error messages for improved user understanding. Define ETL requirements, detailing the data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from source to destination systems, and provide support to developers using tools such as Informatica. Advise on the appropriate implementation of design patterns as required for the project. Conduct code reviews for Salesforce implementations, providing constructive feedback, and collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth transition into the BAU phase. Establish Salesforce DevOps guidelines to assist vendors in building efficient and scalable pipelines. Design comprehensive data models in Salesforce, including the mapping of source fields to destination fields for API and ETL processes. Provide guidance on design principles to both internal and external teams as required. Develop proof-of-concept (POC) solutions where necessary to validate design choices. Key Skills: Extensive experience as a Salesforce Architect Strong exposure to DevOps practices Proven integration expertise with Salesforce 15+ years in software development or architecture Excellent communication skills
