The opportunity: Zurich Insurance UK is expanding its DevOps team to meet the increasing demand for digital transformation, API-led application development, Agile delivery, DevOps practices and innovation. The DevOps team is helping the business transform by improving efficiency and by putting the customer at the heart of everything we do via our digital transformation work. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the DevOps Salesforce team as the Salesforce BA / Admin in our Operation team. You will work in an Agile way alongside the Salesforce Operational Manager, Salesforce Solution Leads, Solution Architect, MuleSoft team, SmartComm team, and the wider Salesforce team to ensure the effective management and operation of the Salesforce estate comprising of five Salesforce Orgs, all while learning and growing your skill set. What will you be doing? If you want to build applications, systems and processes that will transform Zurich, you could be part of a rapidly growing Salesforce team. You will be a “hands on” Salesforce Business Analyst / Administrator with experience in translating business needs into requirements, shaping and informing solution design and architecture, and building out Salesforce solutions using declarative development. Zurich has positioned Salesforce as a strategic technology with five Salesforce Orgs covering Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Salesforce Industries and Not for Profit Cloud. You will gain a broad range of Salesforce experience across multiple lines of business, portfolios, and projects. Other responsibilities will include: Incident management and service request delivery. Working closely with Application Product Owners to deliver the enhancement requests from the backlog. Maintenance activities and proactive monitoring. Technical debt reduction to keep the platform stable. Acting as an ambassador and evangelist for the DevOps and Salesforce team and engaging with the Salesforce Account Management team. Supporting the Operation Manager in other activities as needed. What are we looking for? Your skills and experience: Salesforce certifications, ideally ADM201. Experience in translating business demand into requirements. Stakeholder management experience. Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and/or Salesforce Industries. Practical and hands-on experience configuring Salesforce. Great interpersonal skills, and good written and oral communication skills. Enjoy problem-solving and thinking logically. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative approach to elicit requirements. Ability to take responsibility for a piece of work from start to finish. Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator. Experience of using JIRA and Confluence. Experience of Salesforce DevOps tools.
