Job Description We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to take charge of the development and maintenance of the Brolly platform, which is primarily built on Salesforce infrastructure. The successful candidate will spearhead complex operational changes, ensuring that all technological updates are managed with stringent governance and controls to maintain a reliable and robust technology environment. This role involves designing, coding, troubleshooting, and implementing Salesforce applications to meet business needs in alignment with our operational strategy. What you'll be doing: Analysing and resolving issues within the Salesforce platform, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. Crafting bespoke solutions by writing custom code using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components, all while adhering to Salesforce best practices. Performing comprehensive testing to guarantee that the Salesforce implementation meets and exceeds required standards. Seamlessly integrating Salesforce with other systems using APIs and third-party tools, enhancing overall functionality. Developing and maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations, customisations, and best practices for future reference. Ensuring smooth and successful deployment of Salesforce applications through meticulous testing. Cultivating strong working relationships within the Legal & General group to drive organisational success. Qualifications Who we're looking for: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II. Deployed & managed Salesforce instances in an SME organisation with B2B and B2C. Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. Experience with Salesforce integration tools like MuleSoft or Informatica. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Team player with strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across the business. Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customisation.
