As the first hire into this Salesforce Practice, you’ll have a pivotal role in defining technical strategies, building a team, and delivering world-class Salesforce solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Shape the future: Define the business and technology architecture for complex customer solutions and nurture the growth of the Salesforce Practice
  • Lead solution design: Oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that balance business needs with an excellent user experience.
  • Drive excellence: Contribute to the program and platform Centre of Excellence, offering innovative program/project strategies that leverage the Salesforce platform’s full potential.
  • Set best practices: Provide thought leadership and establish and promote best engineering and development practices, from integration and application design to environment management and testing.
  • Mentor and grow the team: Lead and mentor diverse teams, fostering a collaborative culture and ensuring the team remains ahead of the latest Salesforce and ecosystem trends.
  • Optimise performance: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring that the systems you design are optimised for scalability and responsiveness.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive Salesforce expertise: Deep experience with the Salesforce platform, including strong knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Knowledge of Financial Service Cloud or Health Cloud is also a bonus!
  • Development and integration skills: Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and experience designing and implementing integrations with third-party systems, utilising APIs, middleware and other integration tools.
  • Data management knowledge: Expertise in data architecture, data modelling, and migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Security savvy: A deep understanding of Salesforce security best practices and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Performance optimisation: Ability to identify performance issues and optimise systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Business acumen: A strong understanding of business processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive value.
  • Thought leadership: Stay ahead of the latest Salesforce trends and innovations, proactively identifying opportunities to improve the platform and solutions.
  • Mentorship and training: Proven experience in advising and mentoring teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.


Ideal Skills & Experience:

  • Strong technical strategy and project ownership experience.
  • Proficiency with SQL, SOA design principles, and understanding large code bases.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles that enhance end-user experiences.
  • Experience developing comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and solution designs.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for innovation.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to evolve with Salesforce’s ever-changing landscape.
  • A collaborative mindset with great customer and stakeholder management skills.

A highly competitive basic salary is on offer, plus a Flexible Benefits Fund, Car Allowance and benefits such as Private Medical, Contributory Pension and 4 x DIS (a total cash package of c£120k + Benefits).


This is a hybrid role that will require you to split your time between home, office and customer site. You can expect to be in the office 2-3 time per week but this is not a strict rule and is dependent upon projects and client requirements.
