Sample Reception Laboratory Technician Part Time Salary/Rate:
£12.12ph, with shift enhancement Working Hours:
Tues – Sat, 6am start until 10am (20 hours). Hours before 7am are paid at Time and a half. Saturday hours are paid at Time and a half. Ongoing Temporary Description
Sample Reception Laboratory Technician Working in the Operational Support team at the Starcross Laboratory, the role involves the registration of samples in a laboratory environment. This includes unpacking samples from crates and using the LIMS (laboratory information management) database system to register samples by swiping barcodes. You will also have some basic interaction with the LIMS system and will be responsible for organizing samples onto trolleys, as well as delivering samples to laboratory sections. We are looking for someone with good communication skills who works well with others and as part of a team. You will need basic IT skills and will be required to follow health and safety protocols. You should maintain customer focus to ensure good working relationships with colleagues and customers. Reference
