SAP APO TPVS Consultant
My client, a large consultancy, is in need of an SAP APO TPVS Consultant for a 12-month contract inside IR35 requiring 2-3 days on-site in Manchester on a fortnightly basis.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Transportation Planning/Vehicle Scheduling (TP/VS) to plan and optimize shipments for orders (sales orders, purchase orders, returns, and stock transport orders) and deliveries. When assigning the vehicles, the result of TP/VS planning is the creation of planned shipments. TP/VS supports various processes such as outbound delivery, inbound delivery, and cross-docking, which the candidate must be well aware of. He/she should be able to utilize SAP APO modules to conduct network planning and inventory optimization.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct requirements workshops, gather requirements, and propose appropriate solutions.
Analyze demand drops from SNP optimizer logs, identify reasons for unfulfilled demands, and propose and implement corrective actions.
Participate in the full life cycle of SAP APO implementations/rollouts, from design and configuration to testing and deployment.
Create, monitor, and troubleshoot process chains to ensure timely completion of SNP runs.
Understand CIF application logs and troubleshoot CIF issues related to master data fixes.
Monitor and report key performance indicators related to supply network planning for improvement and corrective actions.
Basic project management skills.
