SAP FI Functional Lead - Remote - FT - Permanent - Salary Experience Dependent We are one of the UK’s leading independent hospital groups and the largest in terms of revenue. We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Support functional lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement, and day-to-day support of the SAP FICO module. This role requires in-depth knowledge of SAP Finance processes, configuration, troubleshooting, and strong problem-solving skills to support business users. Key Responsibilities: Provide functional and technical support for SAP FICO modules (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profitability Analysis, etc.). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including variance analysis, income statements, balance sheets, and other financial statements. Manage and maintain SAP financial systems, ensuring they meet business needs and comply with regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Ensure that all financial processes and systems comply with industry standards and regulations. Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by end-users. Collaborate with other SAP functional and technical teams, such as MM, CO, ABAP, and Basis, to ensure the integration and compatibility of SAP FI solutions. Assist in developing and implementing system enhancements, workflows, and customizations. Key Requirements: Demonstrable experience in SAP FICO support roles. Hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules with knowledge of integrations with MM and other modules. Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles. In-depth knowledge of AP, AR, GL, and Chart of Accounts processes. Cloud platform experience or knowledge of MS Azure. Experience in both ECC and S/4HANA projects. Certification in SAP FI or related modules would be beneficial. Familiarity with IT change and incident management processes (ITIL). Benefits: 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
