Norwich – Hybrid working – 2/3 days a week What you will be doing We are seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Integration Architect with a proven track record of at least 10 years in designing, implementing, and managing SAP integration solutions specifically with SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP integration technologies and methodologies, as well as a strong understanding of modern API management practices. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow between various SAP and non-SAP systems. Responsibilities: Lead workshops with client stakeholders to understand current integration and architecture design. Define the overall integration strategy, including architecture, tools and technologies to ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems across the organisation. Assess and recommend middleware solutions based on client’s current and future landscape, business requirements and strategic goals. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that integration solutions are scalable, secure and align with SAP best practices. Leverage SAP Business Technology Platform and standard SAP integrations to enable native integration and out of the box connectivity. Ensure the integration architecture is aligned with SAP’s latest tools and best practices. Ensure that data flows efficiently between systems, supporting end-to-end business processes and maintaining data integrity across the organisation. Lead technical discussions with client stakeholders, explaining complex integration concepts in a clear and concise manner. Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and present integration solutions. Develop a transition strategy for moving from the current integration landscape to the desired future state, considering factors such as phased deployment, risk management and business continuity. Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Present findings, recommendations and solutions to senior client stakeholders. What you will need Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in integration architecture, with a strong background in designing and implementing complex integration solutions in SAP. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Integration and 1 year of hands-on experience in API management, is required. In-depth understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and data formats (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, ODATA, etc.). Expertise in handling various integration adapters in SAP Cloud Integration (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters). Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven track record of successful end-to-end integration project implementations of SAP S/4HANA. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable integration solutions that meet the complex client needs.
