SAP PPDS Consultant

We are heading up a recruitment drive for a global consultancy that requires an SC Cleared SAP EWM/WM/IM Lead to join them on a major government project that's based 1 or 2 days per week in either London or Wolverhampton.
Job Description:
Requirement for PPDS consultant:
- Experience in delivering Shelf life planning, Safety and Target Stock Level planning, Pegging, Set up Matrix, Campaign Planning, Tank Planning, Detailed Scheduling, Optimizer, Graphic Planning Board, Alerts monitor.
- Experience of Process Manufacturing industry.
- Must have worked on at least 2 SAP projects and on all phases of the SAP implementation life cycle with strong project management and consulting knowledge in the area of supply chain. Knowledge of S/4HANA implementation is required.
- Excellent communication. German speaker desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem solving and often comes up with solutions to complex problems.
Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling:
PPDS consultant with experience in the following:
- PPDS basic set up/config for global settings.
- PPDS heuristic customization/set up, ideally at least:
- Use of multiple resources/multi resource scheduling.
- Backward scheduling/sequencing from finished good requirement date.
- Grouping and prioritising products.
- Product interchangeability/run in & run out processes.
- PPDS Optimizer set up.
- Use of changeover/set up Matrix.
- New 'tank planning' functionality in 2021 release and integration with live silo/container information from MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
- What if scenarios - evaluation of different simulation scenarios in the plan monitor.
- Configuring alert profiles to show in the PPDS apps.
- Resource Capacity definition:
- Internal vs external capacity maintenance.
- Set up of capacity/shift templates using capacity variants for mass maintenance.
Experience of consumer goods companies:
Germany language skills useful.
