This is a great opportunity for an experienced
SAP Utilities Solution Architect
to join a large ongoing transformation programme where you will play an essential role in designing and implementing scalable SAP solutions tailored to the unique needs of the utilities operations, including energy, water, and waste management. You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure seamless integration, optimize processes, and drive innovative solutions for operational efficiency and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Define and execute an SAP-focused enterprise architecture strategy for utilities that aligns with our operational goals, regulatory requirements, and sustainability targets. Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions for utilities management, including SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities) and related modules. Oversee the integration of SAP solutions with other enterprise systems, such as SCADA, GIS, and CRM, to enable comprehensive data flow, real-time monitoring, and enhanced decision-making. Develop advanced reporting and data analytics capabilities within SAP, providing insights to support energy optimization, predictive maintenance, and risk management. Ensure that SAP solutions comply with industry regulations, data security standards, and organizational governance practices. Partner with key stakeholders across operations, IT, sustainability, and finance to ensure SAP architecture aligns with business needs and fosters innovation. Key Skills and Knowledge: 10+ years of experience in SAP architecture, with a focus on SAP IS-U or similar utilities solutions. Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and SAP integration in large organizations. Strong understanding of utilities management processes, including billing, metering, asset management, and energy management. SAP data migration practical experience. Experience with smart grid technologies, IoT integrations, and sustainable utilities practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Consulting background. Strong communication skills (oral & written).
