Location: The Solace Centre SARC, Cobham, Surrey and additional locations through the South East. Payment Rates: Retainer £45.84, Attendance £12.21 per hour. Shift Pattern: 12 hours. Rota Patterns will be: Monday to Sunday - 8am - 8pm & 8pm to 8am Monday to Saturday (12 Hours), 9am - 5pm / 5pm - 1am / 1am 9am - Saturday and Sunday. This is the perfect opportunity for a compassionate person to join a growing, innovative and market-leading service provider within Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC). The role of Patient Crisis Worker is critical in providing victims of sexual assault with the dedicated support and care required. Acting as the advocate for patients who attend the centre, you will empower service users to feel in control and support them during the forensic process and administration to manage patient care pathways and day-to-day service delivery. In addition, the SPCW will work closely with the SARC Manager to recruit and train zero-hour SPCW, support outreach programs to raise awareness of SARC services, and assist in achieving and maintaining UKAS accreditation for the service. Support the implementation and ongoing delivery of ISO 15189 and the FSR Code of Practice. These activities include: Training and competency assessing new SPCW in forensic cleaning. Booking in forensic consumables ensuring acceptance testing and inventory management is complete. Assisting with DNA Environmental Monitoring where applicable. Auditing anti-contamination processes. Understanding contamination risks associated with the activities undertaken as part of their role. The SPCW will also oversee the continued support of patients following their initial visit to the SARC. This includes conducting follow-up calls, regular check-ins, and coordinating onward referrals, such as housing support, as part of a six-week patient case management program. The SPCW will offer sensitive and non-judgmental support, empowering service users to regain control, rebuild their self-esteem, and progress positively in their recovery journey. Company Benefits

Qualifications
Because of the nature of the Sexual Offence Examiner, applications are invited from females only. This post has a genuine occupational qualification under the Sex Discrimination Act, Section 7(2)b and 7(2)e. Whilst the position may be based from one location, additional travel may be a requirement of the role across SARCs; therefore, a UK driving license is required for this role and access to a vehicle.
