We're looking for a highly motivated and talented engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in building the next generation of Satellite Laser Ranging ground stations. What You'll Be Doing

Modelling the performance of SLR and SDLR systems. Developing novel SLR & SDLR systems. Developing novel techniques for processing laser ranging data. Assisting in deployment and testing to validate performance. Perform laser safety risk assessment. What We're Looking For

Demonstrated experience of designing, building and operating SLR stations, or comparable LiDAR systems. Proactive and self motivated. Right to work in UK. Demonstrated familiarity with the following is highly desirable:

Propagation of laser beams through turbulent media. Signal processing techniques used in LiDAR systems. High precision timing systems. Python for device control and data analysis. Linux. Astronomy equipment and techniques. Why Join Us?
