The Role We are seeking a proactive and skilled SATs Intervention Specialist with a background as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA to deliver focused interventions in Maths and English. This role involves working closely with small groups and individual pupils to support their learning, boost confidence, and prepare them for SATs assessments.

Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored intervention sessions in Maths and English (Reading, Grammar, Punctuation, and Spelling) under the guidance of the class teacher. Identify areas where pupils need additional support and implement targeted strategies to address gaps in learning. Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required. Support pupils' confidence and resilience, ensuring they feel prepared for SATs. Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure interventions align with the curriculum and classroom objectives. Create a positive, encouraging learning environment where pupils can thrive.

What We're Looking For Qualifications: A Level 2/Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or HLTA status is desirable. Experience: Previous experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils, ideally in SATs preparation. Proven ability to deliver targeted interventions in Maths and English. Skills: Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, especially in core subjects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning. The ability to manage small groups effectively and adapt teaching strategies to suit diverse learning needs.
