Part-time Veterinary Surgeon: Saturday Mornings
Hours: 0830-1230
Salary: £5,200 - £7,200 p/a (£25 - £35 p/h)
Location: 319 Leith Walk, EH6 8SA
We’re looking for a proactive vet to join our enthusiastic Braid team! This role would be the perfect fit for a vet returning to work or working around studying or childcare commitments and might suit a confident recent graduate. We would be very happy to consider a job-share for prospective candidates.
You will look after our busy Leith Walk practice (EH6 8SA) on Saturday mornings for routine consultations only, providing high-quality care to our patients (cats, dogs and the occasional small furry) and their owners. This is a sole charge position (with reception and VCA support) but training will be provided.
Braid Vets are well-established in Edinburgh; we have provided veterinary services from our main Mayfield Road hospital site since 1967. We’re very proud of our excellent local reputation and are keen to maintain the high standards of care we provide for our patients and owners.
On offer for the role: Hours: 0830-1230 every Saturday Salary: £5,200 - £7,280 p/a (£25 - £35 p/h) 6 weeks/shifts of holiday per year RCVS Membership paid VDS professional indemnity cover Health Shield – wide ranging contributions for health and wellbeing treatments – from dentistry to sports massage Company sick pay (2 weeks at full pay, 4 weeks at half pay)
