Scada Engineer

Scada Engineer focuses on record keeping on progress and issues to the commissioning package manager.

What the role involves

• Record keeping on progress and issues to the Commissioning Package Manager.
• Working very closely with the client Scada engineering team to ensure the installation matches the design.
• Overseeing the SATs of equipment especially with regard to remaining OSS panels.
• Oversee their execution of works, challenging the progress and quality of works where necessary.
• Liaise with Engineering and Quality Departments to ensure outstanding Engineering/Quality Issues are resolved.

Skills and requirements

• LAN systems (Process, Scada, Server, Subsystem, Client, Operator, DMZ).
• HMI and fault reporting operation (design already finalised).
• Provide required functionality and are documented correctly.
• Client witness/support for acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) to ensure they are performed to specification.

Confirmed role details

• Rotation: Monday – Friday, 8 hours a day.
• Type: Freelance outside IR35.
