Job Description

We are seeking experienced Consultants (Scheme Project Managers) to join our Transportation Business Line to safely deliver £1-10m portfolios of challenging rail infrastructure projects, for clients such as Network Rail, Transport for London, HS2, Train Operating Companies and many more. You will be responsible for leading a high performing team and will be instrumental in the growth of Egis. These roles are permanent positions based in

Manchester or Leeds . Key Responsibilities:

Accountable for the delivery of low complex projects or parts of complex projects in a safe & environmentally responsible manner to time, cost and quality standards. Manage multi-disciplinary teams including commercial, programme controls, engineering, and others to identify solutions to client requirements and establish a robust baseline plan. Support Senior Consultants in project reporting to the programme board. Identify project risks and opportunities, updating project registers and implementing mitigation measures. Hold project reviews with multiple stakeholders through the project lifecycle and provide evaluations of progress against the baseline. Experience of stakeholder management and understanding the levels of influence and interests stakeholders have on projects. Administer supply chain contracts, providing forecasts and effectively managing change. Qualifications

Rail experience is essential Member of the Association of Project Management (or equivalent) or working towards membership A degree or equivalent Relevant experience in managing projects to time, cost and quality standards Experience implementing GRIP, PACE, Pathway or other project management methodologies Contract administration experience Ability to interrogate project programmes (P6 and/or MSP) Financial management/control experience You must have the Right to work in the UK What's in it for you:
