School Admin Assistant Primary School – Selly Oak Immediate Start – Until July 2025

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and organised School Admin Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Selly Oak. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy school environment and has strong administrative skills.

The successful candidate will work 31.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, providing essential support to the school office team. This is a temporary role, running until the end of the academic year in July 2025, and offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.

Responsibilities • Managing the school’s front desk and greeting visitors. • Handling phone calls, emails, and other correspondence. • Assisting with pupil attendance records and reports. • Supporting staff with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. • Liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies as required.

Requirements • Previous experience in a school office or similar administrative role. • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and SIMS (preferred but not essential). • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. • A friendly and professional manner. • The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
