School Assistant Caretaker
Full time, Permanent, All year round
36.5 hours per week (With overtime as required)
Monday – Friday alternating shift pattern as follows,
Week 1: 6am – 2pm
Week 2: 10:30am – 6:30pm
Start: ASAP
Salary: £24,027 – £25,992
Location: Birmingham
My client is looking to recruit a hardworking, well qualified, innovative, and committed School Assistant Caretaker to join their School. This role will be to maintain the school facilities and premises, working alongside the Building Services Supervisor and Site Manager.
Ideally candidates will have:
Opening and locking up of the school
Operating alarm and CCTV systems
Minor repairs and cleaning duties
Good knowledge of Health and Safety
The ability to prioritise
Good knowledge of what services, maintenance and repairs are needed
Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
A current enhanced DBS certificate
Excellent organisation skills
Candidates must be DBS cleared or eligible.
