Role Overview: As the School Attendance Officer, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining high levels of student attendance. You will work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure that attendance policies are followed and that every child receives the support they need to attend school regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and track student attendance, identifying patterns and trends. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding attendance issues. Work with students to address barriers to attendance and promote engagement. Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance rates. Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive environment for students. Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on attendance data. Attend meetings and liaise with external agencies when necessary. Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role or in an educational setting is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A proactive and positive attitude towards improving student attendance. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
