Location: Surrey Job Type: Full-time, Term-time (39 weeks per year plus 1 additional week) (interim available from 10th Feb) Salary: £21,329 - 32.5 hours per week, 40 weeks a year Join the vibrant team at a fantastic secondary school in Redhillas as an Attendance Officer, where you will play a crucial role in managing student attendance and supporting the Student Services office. This position requires a highly organized, flexible individual who excels in multitasking and maintains a positive and caring demeanor under pressure. You will work as part of a well-established, small but supportive team. Day-to-Day of the Role:

Administer pupil attendance to ensure high levels of compliance with statutory guidance and school policies. Work closely with parents, carers, and other agencies to improve attendance levels and confidently call parents in a timely manner. Provide support across various administrative tasks within the Student Services team. Coordinate and manage emergency support protocols and first aid provisions. Handle daily communications with parents regarding student absences and maintain accurate attendance records. Offer reception cover during busy periods and lunch breaks, including handling first aid situations. Required Skills & Qualifications:

A good standard of education (minimum GCSE Grade C in English & Mathematics or equivalent). Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within an educational setting. Strong IT skills and familiarity with school management systems like Bromcom or SIMS. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion. Experience in managing attendance or working with young people is highly desirable. Experienced and confident user of Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Benefits:
