We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a temporary capacity. This is a Monday to Friday role, working from 8.30am to 4pm, with daily pay rates starting from £85. If you have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and a background in the UK care sector, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting. Assist with personal care needs, including manual handling and other support as required. Work closely with teaching staff to implement learning plans and provide individualised support to students. Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring students’ wellbeing and development. Essential Requirements:

A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a UK SEN (Special Educational Needs) setting. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. A Child and Adult DBS registered on the update service. A Care Certificate qualification. Manual handling and epilepsy training. Confidence and competence in providing personal care to students when necessary. Desirable:

Experience in the UK care sector, especially with SEN children or young adults. A compassionate and patient approach to working with students with additional needs.
