February 2025 at 9 am School Governors are required for: Becton School Discovery Academy Endeavour Academy Fountaindale School Heatherwood School Hilltop School Lotus Academy Bader Academy Coppice School Kelford School North Ridge School Pennine View School The Willows School Governors are volunteers who have an interest in improving outcomes for children and young people. As a governor, you would work alongside other members of the Academy Council for the school, which includes Staff Governors, Parent Governors, Community Governors, the Headteacher, and officers from the Nexus Central Trust Team. As a Parent Governor, you would need to have a child who is a pupil on roll at the school you are interested in. As a team, you would receive information and reports related to the school’s: Self-Evaluation School Improvement Plan Pupil and Community Voice Meetings are scheduled in the daytime during the school day or evenings, depending on the individual school, and the dates are set a year in advance. Meetings generally last for 2 hours, and there is one meeting per term. If you are interested, please complete and return the attached Expression of Interest Form to
clerkingservices@nexusmat.org . We will then contact you to discuss your interest and more details about our current vacancies.
