About the vacancy:
St Luke’s Academy is looking for a committed volunteer to join their board. It is an amazing school, with really dedicated and passionate staff. The students who attend have huge emotional and social needs and other SEND needs. I have attended a meeting and was blown away by what they put in place for the students, but the Headteacher needs the support and challenge from governors and there are very few. Being a governor is a commitment and a responsibility, but it’s also a rewarding position.
