School Head Groundsperson
Full time, Permanent, All year round
37.5 hours per week, 7:30am – 4pm
Monday to Friday, with evenings and weekends as required
Start: January 2025
Salary: £30,000 + 2 bedroomed house on site, with rent and utilities paid for
Location: Nottingham
My client is looking to recruit a hardworking, well qualified, innovative, and committed Head Groundsperson to join their School. This role requires someone to live on site. The hours of work are typically 7:30am to 4pm, with occasional weekend and evening work for events and fixtures.
Requirements/Duties/Qualifications
Strategic planning Experience in managing contracts and liaising with contractors The ability to prioritise Managing lettings Upkeep of sports facilities and pitches Managing the Grounds Team Knowledge of operation CCTV and alarm systems Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures Good knowledge of what services, maintenance and repairs are needed IT skills such as using a variety of Microsoft packages Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents A current enhanced DBS certificate Excellent organisation skills Physically fit for the role Candidates must be DBS cleared or eligible.
