What You'll Do:
Deliver expert second-line IT support to schools, colleges, and universities. Manage and enhance IT systems, networks, and infrastructure for optimal performance. Conduct on-site visits across Merseyside to provide technical support and strategic guidance. Quickly troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Collaborate with educational staff and corporate clients to identify and implement tailored IT solutions.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
5+ years in IT support, ideally with educational institutions (experience with corporate clients is an advantage). Technical Expertise:
Proficient in network management, cloud platforms (Office 365, Google Workspace), and server administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP). Specialized Skills:
Experience with Smoothwall, Aruba switches, and educational tech systems (e.g., MIS, Paxton Systems). Additional Tools:
Skilled in Mac management, MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf), and print management tools (e.g., Papercut). Problem Solving:
Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Communication:
A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills for engaging with educators and business professionals. Travel:
