Our client, an outstanding school in [Insert Location], is seeking a dedicated School Office Administrator to join their team for a temporary assignment. Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional administrative support to the school, with a strong focus on SEN-related tasks. Maintain accurate SEN records and support the SENCO in the smooth running of the SEN provision. Assist in preparing various documents, such as letters, reports, and correspondence. Organise meetings and maintain diaries. Liaise with parents, external agencies, and stakeholders involved in SEN provision. Ensure accurate data management, including inputting and maintaining records on the school's Management Information System (MIS). Support the preparation of reports and data analysis related to SEN and overall school performance. Maintain compliance with GDPR and safeguarding guidelines when handling confidential information.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in a school office or similar administrative role. Strong organisational skills, excelling in multitasking and prioritisation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbour). Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in SEN administration or supporting SENCOs. Knowledge of SEN processes, including EHCPs and Annual Reviews. Understanding of school policies, safeguarding, and GDPR requirements.
