We guide our students to become inquiring and knowledgeable, as well as caring young people who are well-equipped for their life journey. What we are looking for: We are seeking an enthusiastic Psychologist for our Brighton and Caulfield Campus. This is a part-time position being 4 days a week with the potential for more hours as the school grows. The Psychologist will be responsible for the general wellbeing of all students – 3YO to 18 Years old over 2 campuses. The psychologist is responsible for individual counselling and supporting social, emotional, and behavioral programs targeted at specific year levels. The Psychologist will complete cognitive assessments as needed to assist in the support of educating our students and enable teachers to best cater for specific academic, social, emotional, or behavioral needs. These assessments will also be used for funding purposes. You are: A Qualified Educational Psychologist Preferably with one year’s experience or more in a school setting This role can be undertaken by a provisional psychologist An understanding of educational philosophy in school settings VIT Registration or relevant Working with Children Check The ability to be approachable and work well with all staff including parents.
