Science Teacher

to join a thriving secondary school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while covering maternity leave for one year.

January 2026 Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons to KS3 students. Provide support to KS4 students in their Science studies, fostering their understanding and enthusiasm for the subject. Contribute to the school's inclusive and collaborative environment. Maintain high expectations for student progress and behaviour.

About You We're looking for a teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Has experience teaching Science at KS3 and supporting KS4 students. Is passionate about making learning accessible and exciting for all students. Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills. Is committed to their own professional development and to supporting the wider school community.
