Science Teacher

to join a supportive secondary school in Sheffield to cover a maternity leave. This role involves teaching

KS3 and KS4 Science , with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. The position is

fixed until July 2025 , with the potential to extend beyond this period.

KS3 and KS4 Science, including a GCSE curriculum specialism.

Qualifications:

Candidates with QTS or FE qualifications are welcome to apply.

ECT Support:

Suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with support provided to count towards induction terms.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring engagement and progression for all students.

Plan and prepare engaging lessons that align with the curriculum in your science specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).

Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them reach their full potential.

Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and innovative learning environment.

About You:

Confident and knowledgeable in delivering your chosen science specialism to GCSE level.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

A passion for teaching science and inspiring young minds.
