Band D SCP 7 - 11 (Full-time actual salary £21,844.80 - £23,283.53) 37 hours per week (flexible hours/part-time hours will be considered) Term Time + 1 day We are looking to recruit a Science Technician who will support the Science Department and Senior Science Technician. You will coordinate the use of the practical resources and facilities and provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of

a specific curriculum area (Science), including liaising with teaching staff and support staff outside the department. The ideal candidate will: Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent

Have a Science qualification at GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent or have the ability to demonstrate ability to work at this standard

Have experience of working within a Science department

Love encouraging, motivating and inspiring young children through the support they give in order to encourage their learning

Be committed to our ethos that all pupils can achieve at Whitcliffe Mount

Have great references demonstrating they are a suitable candidate, safe to work with children
