You will support teaching and learning within our Science Faculty. The role will include the preparation and retrieval of materials and apparatus when required for demonstrations and practical work. In addition, you will also be responsible for the organisation of the Science preparation room, including the safe storage and disposal of chemicals, the monitoring and management of stock and supplies, and the maintenance and cleaning of equipment. You will provide support for experiments in lessons and science club practical activities where appropriate, along with any ad hoc tasks delegated to you by the Science Faculty. The ideal candidate will have: Hands-on experience with setting up, maintaining, and cleaning science lab equipment. Experience of working within an educational environment would be an advantage. Ability to manage stock inventories, maintain accurate records of equipment, and ensure that all laboratory materials are properly stored and labelled.
