Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated Teacher - Science Te Kura Tuarua o Tawera / Darfield High School has an opportunity for a teacher who loves to creatively share their passion for physics and other sciences. We offer a well-resourced science department, healthy class sizes, and students who generally appreciate the importance of science. We value the critical role our staff play in the experience of our students. As a semi-rural school close to Christchurch, at the heart of our community, our development programme is based on a strong and inclusive vision. We have a rising roll of about 850 students, Y7–13, most of whom are very well supported from home and well connected to their school, with some who need us to adapt our practice to meet their needs.
