We are seeking to recruit a talented Scientific Officer to support the faculty's objectives in learning and teaching, research, income generation, and consultancy. In this role, you will assist our academics in delivering high-quality demonstrations, workshops, and practical sessions in the laboratory, while taking a proactive approach to developing innovative learning methods. You will also be responsible for ensuring that equipment and materials are prepared for both teaching and research activities. Key Responsibilities
Assist in delivering high-quality demonstrations, workshops, and practical sessions. Prepare equipment and materials for teaching and research activities. Manage the day-to-day activities of designated technicians within the team. Qualifications and Skills
Experience in the Civil Engineering and Built Environment sectors is crucial, as you must be able to demonstrate working knowledge in Materials Science, Structural Analysis & Design, and Health & Safety. An understanding of Surveying, Geotechnics, and Hydraulics would be an advantage. Benefits
