Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with colleagues to help build knowledge around drug targets and validation of ImmTAC of strategic interest to Immunocore. Contribute, with support from colleagues, to generating in vitro models to allow functional validation of ImmTAC specificity. Contribute to pharmacological studies focused upon ImmTAC efficacy / mechanism of action. Participate and present results at internal meetings. Keep up to date with scientific literature and the latest developments in applicable fields. Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and patents. Experience & Knowledge: Essential: Well-versed in fundamentals of immunology and cancer cell biology. Experience in testing the effects of therapeutic molecules via immunoassay techniques (e.g. ELISpot, ELISA, flow cytometry). Proficient in cell culture and utilising in vitro models to dissect biology and test hypotheses. Experience with blood processing and isolation of primary human immune cells. Some experience with generating genetically modified in vitro model systems (e.g. CRISPR, lentiviral transduction, si/shRNA) and applying these to address hypotheses. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Desirable: Experience working with T cells, especially γδ T cells or other unconventional T cell types. Experienced with the design of multi-colour antibody panels for flow cytometry. Experience in Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). Proficient in lentiviral transduction. Pharma or biotech laboratory experience. Some experience in molecular biology and biochemistry. Education & Qualifications:

PhD or equivalent in Immunology, Molecular Cell Biology, Oncology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
