Monday - Friday, between 08:00 - 21:00 About You: Looking for a Scrub Nurse Role with flexibility and competitive pay? Join Medacs Healthcare as a Scrub Nurse and provide exceptional care to patients in the Rotherham area! As an experienced Scrub Nurse with more than 6 months post NMC registration experience you will be expected to deliver exceptional care to patients using services in the Rotherham area of South Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain a safe and sterile environment for the patient throughout the surgical procedure. To safely identify, prepare, check and assemble equipment required for the relevant operating list Prepare and organise the clinical area to receive patients for elective, emergency, and trauma procedures. Coordinate and maintain adequate stock levels of drugs, stores and implants liaising with the Theatre Manager and / Procurement. Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information using various methods to ensure effective understanding. Demonstrate and develop clinical assessment skills and prioritise the care for patients undergoing a surgical / anaesthetic procedure. Contribute to the continuing development of patient care within the operating theatres, e.g. through sharing knowledge and expertise as required. Essential Qualifications: To apply for this role, you must be able to demonstrate: NMC registration. Full UK right to work. 6 months' recent NHS experience (within the last 3 years).
